Why Conduction?

 

At Conduction (UK) Ltd our commitment is to provide skilled trustworthy technicians who work to the highest standard. We promise to provide fair, honest upfront prices and we will never trick you with a gimmick. Our technicians will leave your house clean and tidy and even hoover up after themselves (but don’t tell their wives). We honestly believe that if we have the best technicians, fair pricing and honest business practices that we will win your loyalty for life and referrals to you family, friends and neighbours.

 

Transparency

 

We believe in always being 100% transparent. We are clear, upfront and honest about our company charges. Our staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book a job or if they request details. Our engineers will always show a full breakdown of labour, material and any other charges, and a description of work carried out is shown on all invoices and estimates. We do not charge for the following: call out charge, travelling, parking, collecting parts, taking business calls whilst on your job and there are no other hidden charges. We have a straight forward pricing structure.

 

Breakdowns

 

You will be charged for a minimum of an hour at a set hourly rate for Boiler breakdown & repairs between the hours of 8am-6pm, our charges are slightly higher between the hours of 6-11pm and weekends so you might want to consider leaving your repair till the following day if you can. Should we be on site longer than an hour you will be charged on the basis of each consecutive 30 minutes. If, however, you are a previous customer and have used us before you will pay a cheaper rate which will be the same regardless of day or time. Why? This is our way of rewarding customer loyalty. Larger jobs

 

For larger installations we will provide an initial quote over the phone or by e-mail after a site survey has been carried out. Should you wish to proceed you will then be provided with a full written quote, terms and conditions and a contract to sign. Because of time constraints we do ask customers not to request full written quote unless they are happy with the verbal quote and intend to proceed. It may be necessary to apply a small administration charge in the event that you request a written quote on the basis of proceeding without doing so. For larger commercial installations a fee may apply (available on request) for full written quotations this is redeemable should you wish to proceed with the installation

 

Servicing of appliances

 

We offer a full service for the many different technologies we install including all renewable technologies. We charge a set rate for a service depending on which technology it is. Prices are available on request. Please let us know when you call to book a service of any problems you are experiencing as this will enable us to ensure we have the correct parts that may be required, thus potentially avoiding a return visit and additional costs. In the event that a replacement part is required, additional faults found, installation issues or current regulations not met you will be fully advised of the course of action necessary and of any additional charges involved before the engineer proceeds further.

 

Invoicing/receipts

 

We will invoice and send receipts by e mail where possible unless otherwise requested.

 

Guarantee

 

LABOUR: All of our workmanship carries a 24 month guarantee for your peace of mind. MATERIALS: Covered by manufactures’ guarantee (this does not include labour for the replacement of the part).

Conduction (UK) Ltd will never carry out any unnecessary work or talk customers into any work that is not needed under any circumstances. We only use quality materials, known brands and manufactures parts.

If in the rare event that for any reason you are not happy with the technician and the service we have provided or we have not worked to the high standards we set ourselves we want you to tell us as we’d like the opportunity to put things right. If you are unhappy, then please call us, we will try to resolve your issue by sending an engineer back at a time that is convenient to you.
